I am a strategic communications evangelist. I love analyzing, ideating and training! I believe communications (online and offline) are one of the most powerful tools we have to create change and make our world more equitable, informed and joyful.
Sometimes it’s unclear what exactly strategic communications means.
Basically, I help clients own and communicate their special sauce - what makes them unique - to the people, communities, legislators, or businesses they want to reach.
I help clients maximize their limited time, energy and resources to have the most impactful and clear communication to their desired audiences.
I consult with businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs and artists for training and coaching on how to strategically work with media and prepare for campaigns.
Strategic Communications consulting services include:
One on one communications coaching: I work directly with individuals or teams to advise on communications and media strategy. This can be for upcoming campaigns, or for overall ongoing brand recognition. We can work in real-time to solve current communications problems or I can support you over time in communications goal setting and execution to help marketing, promotions and social media feel manageable. Basically you get to ask me questions and I give you answers.
I also provide 1:1 (ongoing) coaching for public speaking and increasing comfort and skills for speaking with media.

Capacity Building: I work with organizations to build and bolster their communications capacity and functionality. This means:
creating strategic communications plans that help achieve the organization’s overall strategic goals; and supporting organizational implementation,
advising the process of new communications staff,
advising on organizational narrative strategy and messaging.
