So I love talking just as much as I love performing! brASS burlesque, my burlesque family and community, was featured by the homie Tina Vasquez of Prism Reports as part of her incredible “Sex Positivity and the Arts” series. I co-wrote this piece with my femme fam Una Osato/exHOTic other and Miss AuroraBoobRealis about how we use burlesque to bring joy and as pleasure activism. What an honor to share space with long time sister La Bianca Laureano who has been a pioneer in decolonizing sexuality education, and one of my online friends in my head, Dr. Sami Schalk, Assistant Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies who is a fierce queer and disability rights adovcate.
